Innovest Afrika is a nonprofit ventures platform focused on accelerating African-founded startups globally, with a mission to support founders through education, mentorship, and capital access. Each year we select cohorts for our Innovest Ignite Accelerator programs across Africa, Europe, and North America, helping founders refine business models, connect with investors, and build sustainable, scalable ventures.
We are currently the most active accelerator that supports founders of African descent, hosting programs hold across multiple geographies with a strong on-the-ground presence in key African startup hubs.

With over two decades of experience in global leadership across high-growth fintech startups, venture capital, and consulting, Femi brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his work at Innovest Afrika.
He is passionate about empowering the next generation of African leaders through mentorship, cross-continental collaborations, and strategic partnerships—creating pathways for innovation and economic growth. Femi holds an MBA from Babson College’s F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business.
